Then I say, "Not really… we help companies communicate and/or celebrate with their employees, customers and/or the public with the right messaging, staging, graphics, video, script writing, costuming, whatever it takes, etc… Then they look confused so I say, "As an example, have you ever seen the Academy Awards? (They nod). (Really deep breath here and get ready to wave arms a lot). Yes, ok. So, if a company has an awards program it can look a lot like the Academy Awards. We transform an event space and produce all the audio, video, screens, cameras, staging, lighting, maybe even a red carpet, design the set, design the attendee flow in to the room…we do all the scripting, rehearse and coach executives, hire the emcee(s), hire and produce the entertainment segments, we give thousands of winners special tickets and stage them in specific seating arrangements, we spotlight the winners as they come to the stage and play special music- we can push an applause button if necessary, and we do it faster than at the Academy Awards." Exhale…

looking for bargains (not necessarily buying but always looking), playing with my small fry the Toodie-Monster, baby blogging, and thinking long and hard about how I can add any form of exercise back into my life while eating a minty-dark chocolaty type of snack.

String Cheese. Just keep pulling me apart and eventually, you will understand all of the layers. And, string cheese is low in fat - a trait I admire.

that I am in my seventh year and counting and I still love my job. It is nice to hear an executive or client say, "So, we’ll see you on the next project, right?" or "What are you doing in here (the restroom)?! Won’t the ballroom fall apart without you?!"

No secrets. If you ask, fortunately/unfortunately, I will tell you the answer or make something up. For instance, if you asked about the natural color of my eyebrows I would have to tell you that my eyebrows are truly blond and that I have to color them daily with brown, waterproof L’Oreal mascara to match my dark brown hair. I had to switch to waterproof because someone actually tried to wet their thumb and wipe off my eyebrow.

I am constantly challenged and surrounded by really, really smart (and nice) people.
